OUR MISSION:

The mission of the DSNWV is to enhance the lives of individuals with Down Syndrome by providing information, resources and support to families and professionals and by promoting awareness and acceptance of individuals with Down Syndrome.

Who We Are:

The Down syndrome Network of West Virginia (DSNWV) is a 501 C3 non-profit organization established in 2002 by concerned parents of children with Down syndrome

Why We Exist:

Prior to 2002, when a child with Down syndrome was born in WV, no information was available for the family. There was no formal way to connect with a family of a child with Down syndrome who understood what the new parents were going through.

All DSNWV programs and services are available at no charge. This is due primarily to the contributions of individuals, foundations and corporations.

The DSNWV is extremely grateful for those who support our mission.
